Help! Who’s Who? (Strategic Mapping)

Got a handle on community groups and employer schemes that promote cycling in your area? No? Well, Transport Initiatives can help hard-pressed council officers find out who’s out there doing good work for cycling.

We’ve recently carried out a strategic mapping exercise for LB Tower Hamlets to chart exactly who was offering what for cycling in the borough and to offer recommendations on how the use of scarce resources could be maximised.

Following a very hands-on study, we produced a comprehensive overview of how local projects were supporting the Cycling Plan for Tower Hamlets. Better communication and sharing of resources between projects were key recommendations.
