

‘Jan Gehl provided the vision and
Alex Sully showed us how to deliver it’
Alex Sully was invited to speak in a plenary session at the first Polish National Active Mobility Congress in Gdansk on 1st October. The keynote speaker was the world famous architect Jan Gehl, whose company was responsible for the shared space layout of New Road in Brighton. The Deputy Mayor of Gdansk, Maciej Lisicki was reported as saying that Jan Gehl provided the vision and Alex Sully showed us how to deliver it.
One of the outcomes of the congress will be the setting up of the Polish Urban Mobility Association (PUMA).
